Do Angels And Demons Really Exist?
Do not ever doubt that angels and demons exist. They have been depicted in all the major religions Judaism, Christianity, and Islam since before the birth of Christ. The major religions all agree that angels and demons were created with higher knowledge, power and mobility than humans. More written proof was given to us when The Dead Sea scrolls were discovered in eleven different caves in Qumran between 1947 and 1956. They include the only known surviving copies of Biblical documents made before 100 C.E. The scrolls are written in Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek all languages of the major religions and are dated between 150 B.C.E. to 70 C.E. Can you imagine being fortunate enough to be one of the people to find this? We are given more and more proof with each discovery that God allows man to find. These discoveries are not made through dumb luck. The translations over the centuries have given angels and demons different names, different numbers and different responsibilities but they do not disagree as to their existence.Some scholars and scientist have tried to prove that angels, demons and God do not exist, well mostly that God and angels don't, but have had absolutely no success. Are they so impressed with themselves as to believe this universe is all there is? I think they are very narrow in their thinking not to believe in other powers and intelligences outside our universe as we know it! The problem for most of us is telling the difference between our guardian angels and demons. Neither side wears uniforms in order to help us out and even Satan can appear as anything he chooses. Paul described him as "the prince of air". Angels, like man, was created with free will but they surrendered their free will the moment they were formed. They were instantly given and had to decide the choice between turning toward or away from God and the choice was irrevocable. Some chose to be on the winning team and are our guardian angels. They are instructed to watch over us. Their job is made clear In Psalm 91:1,11,12 “For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. They shall bear thee up lest thou dash thy foot against a stone”. Some of the others turned away and became eternally evil. These became known as the fallen angels as they could not accept that man was placed in higher esteem above the angels. Some hang around hoping to be reinstated but when they chose to turn away from their Creator there was no turning back, that was a huge mistake on their part. They started a war they could not win. Demonology gives us the hierarchy of the demons which were created when one-third of the Heavenly hosts followed Satan and were cast from Heaven. Demons are associated with the seven deadly sins among other nice things they have given us. In order to understand our angels and demons, angelology and demonology have given us the hierarchies. For every demon there is an angel watching and ready to help. 
The Archangels are the chief angels. They are in charge of God’s army of angels who constantly battle the prince of darkness.
Of the seven archangels Michael, Gabriel and Raphael are the most famous. Do you know who the other four archangels are? You can't help but get a little excited about this group of angels. If you would like to know, they are in the Third Hierarchy, the eighth choir of the celestial ladder. They are the warriors! On the opposing team are the arch demons Satan (Lucifer), Asmodeus and Azazel. My curiosity about angels and demons has taken me on a fascinating journey thru angelology and demonology from the highest ranking angels, the Seraphim, to the lowest ranking angels, the Guardian Angels.
